South of Summit Taqueria and Tequila re-opens Friday, May 15

Hey Kansas City! Your favorite taqueria is BACK! We are thrilled to announce the re-opening of our dining room this Friday, May 15 in accordance with the Kansas City, Mo. re-opening guidelines. All of your favorite Summit Grill owned restaurants throughout the metro will be open for dine-in service starting Friday.
South of Summit Dine-in Hours starting May 15
Sunday: 11am – 10pm (kitchen close at 8pm)
Monday – Thurs: 11am – 10pm (kitchen close at 9pm)
Fri – Sat: 11 am – 11pm (kitchen close at 9pm)
Daily Happy Hour (in the bar) 3pm-6pm
We will continue offering curbside carryout including our Family Taco Packs and margarita kits to go.
Things may look a little different the next time you dine with us. We wanted to reach out and share the proactive steps we are taking so you can continue to dine at South of Summit with confidence. All of these safeguards and precautions are made with you in mind and are based on guidance from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), National Restaurant Association (NRA), Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and state and local government officials to maintain a safe dining experience for everyone.
Pre-screening all employees before entering the building
Ensuring team members are absent from work if they are ill or show symptoms of illness
Strict and frequent handwashing procedures for staff, in accordance with the Kansas City Missouri Food Code
Our team will be wearing facemasks
Redesigned floor plan to allow for 10-feet in between dining tables
6-feet social distancing between parties
Limiting 10 guests per table at maximum
Removal of communal items from tables (ex: salt & pepper shakers, available upon request)
Eliminating re-usable menus
Guests can view menus online at SouthofSummit.com
Single-use menus available upon request
Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of tables, booths, seats, highchairs, condiments, check presenters, doors, telephones, screens, and other high touch surfaces.

We will seat tables on a first come, first serve basis. If all tables are occupied when you arrive, place your name on the waitlist and please wait outside the building in order to maintain social distancing. Your name will be called when your table is ready.
We are all in this together. In order to maintain a safe and healthy environment we respectfully ask our guests to follow these guidelines when dining with us:
Remain home if you or someone in your home is sick or experiencing symptoms of illness
Follow social distancing guidelines of 6-feet
Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds prior to eating
Avoid touching your face
Cover your cough or sneeze
Be kind and courteous
